I’ve used covers before that would lift up every time the wind picked up. This one is much easier to tighten around the base of the plant. Once I pull the cord snug, it feels a lot more secure. Simple design, but honestly really useful.
The fabric was nicer than I expected. It’s light enough that I’m not worried about putting too much weight on the plant, but it still feels sturdy enough for outdoor use. I also like that it folds down small when I’m not using it.
Most of the frost covers I looked at were made for little pots. I needed something for a much bigger shrub, and this size worked really well. It covered the whole plant instead of leaving half of it exposed. I’ll probably grab another one for the other side of the yard.
We had snow coming in and I really didn’t want to keep moving my plants back and forth. This cover was super easy to put on and stayed in place really well. I also love the little clear window because I can check on the plant without taking the whole thing off. So much easier than using old sheets.
